Century Cinemax Promotion
In a bid to bring customers back to the Cinema after the entertainment sector being reopened on 24th January 2022, the Cinema had a month-long promotion where ticket prices were significantly reduced. From Monday to Thursday, tickets were sold at 10,000/- while on the weekend (Friday – Sunday), the tickets cost 15,000/-. Given that the mall is located in a predominantly residential neighbourhood, the discounts attracted many customers to the Cinema; especially during the weekend. This actually contributed to the footfall increase seen in the month of April.
Easter Holidays at Metroplex
From 8th – 18th April 2022, we held an Easter campaign at the mall where for every 100,000/- or more spent at any store within the mall, the customer was given an opportunity to spin the wheel for a chance to win a prize from the mall. In order to attract families to the mall over the Easter weekend, we had children’s activities from Good Friday – Easter Sunday where we had the Easter Bunny entertaining children; as well as face painting. These activities were a great highlight for the families; we also had local celebrities bringing their children to the mall and posting on social media. This served to further elevate awareness about the campaign.
Father’s Day Campaign
We were delighted to join the rest of the world in celebrating Fathers across the areas in and around Naalya through the weekend of June 18th and 19th. The mall embarked on promoting some of the tenants trading with social media content encouraging our audiences to visit the mall and celebrate their fathers with gifts and special treats.
